"I signed up for yelp today just to write this review.  I took my Passat in for a regular 50,000 mile servicing, and was surprised at the great customer service.  Gary was very helpful, personable, and service-oriented.  He explained everything that needed to be done to the car, tried to get it done in a timely manner, kept me informed of the status, and was pleasant to work with (even made my little daughter a balloon animal).  The receptionist was also very nice and professional, and tried to make my short wait there comfortable by offering me drinks, etc.  I have always been happy with Hanlees Hilltop VW (been there twice before), but this time I was so pleased I just had to write a yelp review." -Joanna J.

"I gave hilltop VW a Five out of Five not VW as a car manufacturer. My car unfortunately had a defect in the valve body that many of the VW beetles had. I cannot put into words my frustration that VW would not replace it, but sometimes thats how the cookie crumbles. That being said, Gerry at VW was one of the nicest men I have ever at the pleasure of working with. He was so very nice and worked with me through the entire process, as did everyone else at VW Hilltop. Even though the cost of repair was heartbreaking all the people at VW Hilltop made the experience bearable. I am happy to say that all my issues with my car are now fixed. This is not only my first time being treated exceptionally well at VW Hilltop, I also had my alternator changed at Hilltop one year ago which reflected the same exceptional service that was done in a timely and professional manner. "The wonderful service here made me renew my yelp account. I used to take my car to a different location to be serviced. Not anymore. Hanlees Hilltop Volkswagen service department has single-handedly changed my perception about car maintenance, which was always a nightmare in the past. The warranty on my car ran out a few months ago and since then I've had two major issues where I had to bring my car to Hanlees for service. (one was electrical; the other involved excessive carbon in the piping) Each time, I was very worried that it would cost thousands of dollars to resolve the issue; however, the initial estimate each time was only a very small fraction of what I thought prior. What I ended up paying in the end was even lower than the estimate each time, which was a relief. The people who helped me were Steven Fabiani and Gary Byrne. Both were very customer-service oriented, kept me fully updated on the status of my car, stayed within the predetermined time-frames, and didn't make me feel like they were trying to wrestle a customer survey out of me. They also did a great job of explaining what was going on with my car in layman's terms, never condescending. When I got my car back each time, it was shiny and vacuumed. There was a prior review about there not being any refreshments. Coffee, water, chips, and fruit were available. There was TV as well. I needed transportation back to my house which was only a mile away so a shuttle was provided. The shuttle driver was sweet too. I should also mention that they're currently in the middle of construction, so that is probably why the office is not yet brick-and-mortar. I'm confident that I won't have to be back there soon; but, if I must - I am confident that my car will be in the best hands." -Paula D.
